Fees
At Rochedale Dental Group we aim to keep our fees within industry standards. As such our fees reflect the skills and experience of our Dentists and Oral Health Therapists as well as the technology we have available for your diagnosis and treatment.
We will never "cut corners" when dealing with your health and ensure our sterilization, infection control and materials are of a very high standard.
Comparing fees between dental practices may be tricky, so make sure you are comparing exactly the same thing because the types of treatment, materials and equipment may differ. Be careful about getting "over the phone" quotes because they may change once the Dentist assesses your situation.
Following your initial examination, we will always provide you with a treatment plan and fee estimate before we start any treatment. This means there are no hidden costs or nasty surprises for you to deal with. You can choose the treatment option that best suits your needs and your budget.
Our Treatment Co-Ordinators are here to assist you. They are trained professionals in all areas of dental care and can help you plan your treatment and answer any queries you may have.
Payment Options
- For your convenience, we accept cash, mastercard, visa, bankcard, hicaps, care credit and AMEX.
- We accept personal cheques for treatment but not for new patient visits.
- Payment is required on the day of your appointment.
Preferred Provider Schemes
It is our belief that you, our valued patients, would prefer to have the best care we can give you, rather than a compromised service.
Recently health funds have begun to introduce preferred provider schemes into Australia. These schemes are essentially a contract with the Dentist to provide certain services for a fixed fee (usually discounted) in exchange for advertising and marketing benefits from the Health Fund.
At Rochedale Dental Group, we have chosen not to join these schemes.
This decision has not been made lightly, but out of a deep concern for the long term wellbeing and freedom of choice for our patients.
Preferred provider schemes have essentially taught us that they lead to limited patient choices and services, the use of cheaper, inferior treatment options and materials and, after a protracted presence, the lowering of dental standards. The advantage of being on the health funds marketing campaign comes at far too high a price.

Quotes over the phone
- In some cases we can give you fee estimates over the phone, but they will only be a rough guide and may change once your specific situation has been assessed.
- You will be provided with an exact fee quote for your initial comprehensive examination and following this, we will give you treatment plan options with more accurate fees.
- We prefer not to give over the phone quotes to compare with other practices because it can be misleading and the treatment options may not be the same from practice to practice.
- We are more than happy to schedule an appointment to provide you with an assessment or second opinion if you are unsure about treatment options already recommended.
